Bio
I have always been interested in several mediums of art. While in college I did charcoal caricatures in the student union for $5 and painted landscapes in oil. I am self taught and can generally draw or paint anything I see. All of my work adorns the walls of family and friends, I have never sold a painting. For me, each piece is a labor of love and more recently all of my paintings are water color, a medium which I have found to be more friendly than oil or acrylics. I have always enjoyed working with my hands. I build beautiful fly rods, custom cabinetry in my wood shop, design build and finish large agricultural buildings, have a passion for cooking and tend to 11,000 apple trees on my farm in Michigan. Creativity has always been a relaxing diversion from the rigors and stress of corporate life. I have been the CEO of several large science and technology corporations during the past 40 years.
