Deborah Simmons is a northeastern artist who grew up with a great appreciation of the outdoors and the beauty it bestows. In later years, this awareness inspired her to capture life’s visual experiences through watercolor.
Now transplanted in Florida, she captures the southern coastal environment with the same joy that she experienced in her northern upbringing. Detailed in her style, Deb incorporates the fine lines she observes, while utilizing and admiring the way in which watercolor blends and transitions to create its own beauty.
